"There are two types of people, those who are most productive in the morning, and those who are most productive at night..."

While I've heard that statement multiple times in different forms, I am not sure I entirely believe it, mainly because I cycle between months of morning productivity followed by months of evening productivity, one thing I am sure of however is the following:

[Revenge Bedtime Procrastination is...] a psychological phenomenon, where people stay up later than they desire in an attempt to have control over the night, because they perceive themselves (perhaps subconsciously) to lack influence over events during the day.

I am a computer science student, and coding at night is one of the most satisfying things ever, but I am always thinking of why is that the case.

Am I enjoying the solitude or trying to make up for a conscious or an unconscious feeling of lack during the day.
